How to be a smart investor?

I had this idea for a blog. It would be all about real estate, both local and national. It would be smart, curious and enjoy a laugh. People could learn about buying and selling their homes, plus search for a new home, without being sold as a lead. It would understand that real estate is used for people, not the other way round. It would give it all away free and know the universe would send it all back.
